My e.firma was revoked, has expired, or I renewed it. How do I update it in Mifiel?

If your e.firma has expired, the platform will detect it automatically, unlink the expired certificate, and ask you for your new e.firma certificate the next time you sign a document.

If you revoked or renewed your e.firma and now have a new one, follow the steps below to unlink your previous e.firma certificate (.cer file) from your Mifiel account. To do this, you'll need a document waiting for your signature, and you'll still need the files and password for your previous e.firma.

1. Start signing the document as you normally would. When you're asked to drag and drop your e.firma files, use the files from your previous e.firma.
2. Enter the password for your old e.firma and click "Sign."
3. The system will detect that this e.firma is no longer active and unlink it from your account.
4. Now select the files for your current e.firma, enter its password, and sign the document.

Once you've completed these steps, your updated e.firma will be linked to your account. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.
