About Mifiel
What can I do if I forgot my e.firma's password?
Unfortunately it is not possible to recover the password that protects the private key of an e.firma. If you forgot yours and cannot find where you wrote it down (the SAT generally gives you a piece of paper to write it down, and sometimes SAT personnel will include a file with a .txt extension with your password on your USB flash drive), you will have to renew it at the SAT offices.
To get a new e.firma certificate, make an appointment at your SAT office under the category "e.firma renewal or revocation", the process will be similar to when you got your e.firma for the first time.
This time be sure to write down your new private key password and store it securely. Once you have your new e.signature with its password, you will be able to use it to sign documents in Mifiel.
