What can I do if there are errors in a contract signed with e.firma? Can it be invalidated or canceled

Sometimes a contract contains errors, and the parties sign it anyway, whether or not they noticed them.

When a contract is signed on paper, one possible solution is for the parties to meet, destroy the original contracts, and sign new, corrected documents. With a digitally signed contract, however, it isn't as easy to permanently destroy it and prove that it was destroyed. In that case, assuming the parties reach an agreement, there are a few alternatives.

If the errors are caught before everyone has signed, the contract can be deleted in Mifiel and a new one uploaded. But if they're caught after everyone has signed, your options are:

  1. Sign an amendment that corrects the errors in the original contract.
  2. Sign a cancellation agreement that references the original document and states why it's being invalidated, then sign the new contract.
